B-Class evaluation edit

I checked the article against the B-Class criteria (click on the link for a more detailed description of each criterion):

  1. The article is suitably referenced, with inline citations where necessary. N The first paragraph in the 'Early life and army career' section, touching on his pre-retirement life, is uncited.
  2. The article reasonably covers the topic, and does not contain obvious omissions or inaccuracies. N More information is needed about his 30+-year service with the Pakistan Army. Additional information about his early life and later personal life (family, activities) also would be useful.
  3. The article has a defined structure.? Although content is organized in separate sections, the current structure does not really include "all the sections that can reasonably be included in an article of its kind" (a biography of a general).
  4. The article is reasonably well-written. Y It contains "no major grammatical errors and flows sensibly".
  5. The article contains supporting materials where appropriate. Y It contains a reasonably complete infobox and persondata. A photo would be nice, but is not essential.
  6. The article presents its content in an appropriately understandable way. Y The article does not really contain many "technical terms"; most of the potentially unfamiliar terms or names are merely of places or types of aircraft, and are appropriately wikilinked.

On the whole, I think this is a good start toward B-Class, and some expansion of the article with reliable sources would do the job. Best, -- Black Falcon (talk) 16:50, 17 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
