Zak Johnson Birth Date?
editI hope you can help me please,,,,
An edit I made regarding Zak Johnson's birth date which should be 25th May 2005 has been removed and I'm just trying to get it resolved as it's been published incorrectly ever since his information first appeared on Wikipedia. I am actually his father and can certainly provide his birth certificate as a reliable source.
I think the source of the incorrect DOB originates from a Football Players database and these are notoriously incorrect with their details but once they're published it's very difficult to change.
However, I also noticed in Zak's Playing Career section on Wikipedia that it mentions quite correctly that Zak made his debut for Sunderland in the EFL Trophy on October 13th 2021 when he was age 16 years and 141 days old and this appearance made Zak the youngest outfield player to play for Sunderland in almost 50 years. This fact is absolutely correct and if you do the Maths, it certainly proves his date of birth to be 25th May 2005.
As further evidence it states correctly that on 1 July 2022, it was announced Johnson had signed his first professional contract with Sunderland on a deal lasting until 2025. It actually mentions in that article source (3) that Zak was only 17.

England call-ups are a bit more complicated but he was called up to England U18's in June 2023. To qualify for England U18's in 2023, a player must have to have been born no earlier than 2005.

I hope this can now be corrected and my edit accepted?
Thanks for your help

Phil Johnson
