10th Ward councilman
editIs Mikovich is still the councilman for Akron's 10th Ward? According to this FOX 8 webpage and this newspaper article, he appears to have lost his bid for re-election. However, maybe this was just a primary election and the general election has yet to be held. -- Marchjuly (talk) 05:03, 10 May 2019 (UTC)
Unsourced content
editQuite a bit of unsourced content in this article. I've tried googling for stuff, but there's not really much to be found. I was able to find this listing results from the 2010 Ohio House of Representatives election, but it lists Milkovich as being elected to represent the 45th District, not the 35th as the article claims. He then appears to have been re-elected in 2012, but lost in the primaries in 2014 according to Ballotpedia. I couldn't find any reliable sources for 2012, but did find this and this for 2014. Ballotpedia is also and one of the 2014 articles state he represented the 35th District, so maybe there was some redistricting done between 2010 and 2014.
Most of the personal information is completely unsourced. There's an interview here that might be OK per WP:EL, but has very little value (if any) as a primary source per WP:INTERVIEW. Same goes for Milkovich's official website bio.
A recent burst of editing by a new WP:SPA account to add more unsourced content also might indicate an WP:APPARENTCOI. The editor did try to add a citation to here in support of Milkovich owning a private real estate group, but I'm not sure how reliable Opencorporates is for Wikipedia's purposes, particularly for a BLP; so, I removed it and re-added the {{citation needed}} template which had been removed.
Pretty much for all of the above reasons, I've added Template:BLP Sources to the article, but content might start having to be removed if proper sourcing cannot be found for verification purposes. -- Marchjuly (talk) 05:38, 10 May 2019 (UTC)
- I would propose to give it a few days to see if anyone wants to add cites. If they do not appear we need to prune this quite a bit. --''Paul, in Saudi'' (talk) 14:58, 10 May 2019 (UTC)
