Really the deepest.... what? edit
The deepest water-filled sinkhole, or the deepest water in the hole? The article claims Zacatón to be the deepest water-filled sinkhole in the World. However, Red Lake (for example) is indeed less deep than either Zacatón or Pozzo del Merro lakes, at least considering its measured depth, which is at least 255m, but, its water-lever lies 241m below the top of the hole. So, the Red Lake sinkhole is deep at least 496m in total, making it deeper sinkhole than Pozzo del Merro and much deeper than Zacatón.
Reference missing edit
I went to read Airhart, Marc (2007-05-19). "Put a Lid On It" (currently the 16th reference on the page) and found that it is a broken link. Just thought I should mention it.

What's with the grammar in this article? edit
This looks like it was written by a high schooler. Additionally, is it necessary to have written the section on Gary's work like this? This reads like it was written in the third person by Gary. I'm not sure if that's appropriate for Wikipedia. 2600:1700:19E3:5C0:E54C:A4FE:1FA5:183B (talk) 14:39, 6 January 2024 (UTC)
- @2600:1700:19E3:5C0:E54C:A4FE:1FA5:183B "According to Gary... than with other deep sinkholes in this same region of Mexico."
- Is this really necessary? This isn't a 10th grade science report. 2600:1700:19E3:5C0:E54C:A4FE:1FA5:183B (talk) 14:43, 6 January 2024 (UTC)
