The link to the Naka history article at the bottom of the page is incorrect. Syr0 (talk) 12:33, 29 January 2013 (UTC)

PROPE/Sonic development

Just noticed that on the PROPE site, in what seems to be a recruitment FAQ, Naka or whoever wrote the article has outright denied developments of Sonic games, saying they belong to SEGA. Should we update that part of the article here which suggests mere doubt? It's all on this page, 'Boshu', though I fear Google Translator may make things a little less clear. --Sinnyo 22:10, 25 July 2006 (UTC)

A Touch Of Bias

I question the objectivity of this Wiki entry. I mean, seriously, referring to Yuji Naka's fans as "fools" and claiming that Naka has "ruined" the Sonic series is a subjective opinion at best, and downright mean-spirited at worst. Have Naka's decisions been controversial? Yes. Has the Sonic franchise seen better days? Sure. However, there's got to be a way to mention all of this without launching personal attacks at the man, his work, and his fanbase. It reminds me of the Penny Arcade comic where Skeletor revised He-Man's Wiki entry, referring to the musclebound hero's friends as "Dorko" and "Pee-la."

Reply to 'a Touch of Bias'

Yeah I know about that. I just fixed it. It was someone from the site BZPower. In the site's Completly Off Topic discussion I was having an argument with them about Yuji Naka and how much he's done. Some wise guy decided they should come to my reference point and screw it up. Either way I reverted it to the best of my ability.

I added this section in the article. Remove if it turns out to wrong. --DavidHOzAu 10:52, 20 March 2006 (UTC)

English speaker?

I just read this: He is one of the few famous Japanese game creators to speak fluent English Is Mr. Naka really a fluent speaker of the English language? I thought he would need a translator to express himself in interviews.

Yes, come to think of it, his video appearance in the London leg of last year's Video Games Live tour was conducted in Japanese.. I suppose that might be to save localising it for everywhere else, but you'd have thought he might express such a rumoured fluency for such an American-centred event. I'll see what I can do about tracking down English-language videos or recordings of him, but I'd imagine there's more evidence to suggest this isn't the case. Sinnyo 19:23, 27 March 2007 (UTC)

Trivia

I removed the trivia section because what was claimed to be his birthdate hidden in Sonic 2, isn't a birth date. It's impossible. 65,19,06,45, or something like that...Skeletal_SLJCOAAATR_Soul_Striker_of_Vengence (talk) 14:19, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

19, 65, 09, 17 = 1965, Sept 17, which is his birthday. Do what you want with the trivia section, I'm not going to revert it. Frumfst (talk) 05:28, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

this article only mentions his career, most articles about notable/famous people have a section about their personal lives, i'm gonna add one but I know nothing about yuji naka before he joined team sonic.--Lerdthenerd wiki defender 16:05, 14 August 2012 (UTC)
