I think there should be distinct and seperate sections regarding information on Yuggoth, divided by what Lovecraft wrote and what others wrote. It should be noted that Lovecraft's work is the only true canon on the matter. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.248.160.82 (talkcontribs) 11:11, 24 August 2006

It might be worthwhile to separate the article by author, yes. I must say, however, that, based on the rather amorphous internal consistency of Lovecraft's writing, his usage of the Unreliable narrator, his constant correspondance with other genre authors on his stories and his active encouragment of others to take the Mythos and "run with it," I find the idea of the Mythos even having "canon" somewhat bizarre. I think it would be a misstatement to use that phrase in the article.

I think this article could use some re-arrangement. First, a general introduction to Yuggoth, quoting directly from Lovecraft. Near the end of this section, discuss the two different interpretations of Yuggoth - Yuggoth as Pluto vs. Yuggoth beyond Pluto. Next, a section on ambigous uses of Yuggoth - stories where we can't tell if Yuggoth is Pluto or not. Then a section on the Yuggoth as Pluto material, adding material from the book Machinations of the Mi-Go, which has extensive description of this scenario. After that, the Yuggoth beyond Pluto section, featuring the Lupoff material and a mention of the Oort cloud. Finally, we keep and expand any further closing sections. Does this sound about right? If there are no objections, I'll proceed in the near future, as time permits. - CNichols 01:43, 11 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Nibiru? edit

How is Yuggoth Nibiru? Why is it in the subtitle? 81.182.237.101 (talk) 12:16, 3 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
