Editing

Glad to see that this page has got some new information on it. However, there was some gramatical errors and irrelevant information, so I proof read a bit. always be sure to check into the Discussion page before making a serious edit. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.209.30.255 (talk) 00:18, 26 October 2007 (UTC)

Some changes

I condesnced some of the information that seemd to ramble on too long. In addition, I took all the theories scattere about on Yue's love life and put them under one catergory. I think it runs smoother. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.130.37.132 (talk) 16:33, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

Just thought I'd let everyone know that I made some changes to 70.130.37.132's new paragraph. It was beautifuly organized, but there was a lot of information missing that was really needed to make a fair argument. This is and encyclopedia, we've gotta try and stick to the facts. I also found that some of the changes were incorrect. Especialy an allusion made to a quote of Eriol's in volume 9. If you read the origional japanese, Eriol outright says that Yue and Yukito are completely differnt people and that their feelings for others around them are going in completly different directions, but somehow it was completly mistranslated to say that Eriol called Yukito and Yue the same! We really need to get this page properly cited to prevent inaccuracies like that. 3loodlust (talk) 22:10, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
It's hard to get things exact. with words like "like" and "love" being so close to each other, but having very differnt meanings, things often get lost in translation. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.130.37.132 (talk) 22:38, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
That translation is solidly backed. I translated it myself from the origional japanese text, and I have 2 other translations done independently by other people that leave the translation exactly the same. You can be exact. 3loodlust (talk) 00:09, 29 January 2008 (UTC)

It's good to have someone around who can speak Japanese, then. We who can't can never be sure of exactly what is said. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.37.227.113 (talk) 22:43, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

Just thought I'd let everyone know that I've done some cleanup work, I re-added some missing information and added a bit more organization so that it runs smoother.3loodlust (talk) 21:52, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

I like the "controversy" addition. I put one under both Clow and Sakura as well. Just keeping it all equal, folks —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.27.231.207 (talk) 22:02, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

Why?

Why was so much information deleted under the "True Heart" heading? Clow's article was deleted, as well as the controversy under Sakura. re-added. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.27.231.207 (talk) 23:31, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

To AjaaniSherisu

I understand what you're trying to do, but the presented information is much better organized in its present format with the 'controversy' sections in tact. It was after much deliberation and several revisions that this format was chosen to best represent the information, and I suggest that you do not change said format unless you have a very good reason that adds to the article's overall organization, rather than taking away from it. 3loodlust (talk) 01:23, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

I am willing to allow the controversy portion to stay, although I think theories would of been a better word, as controversy isn't a fitting word for the info mentioned. I also think we should clean the info up to make it less like a talk page. The argument against the theory is worded too much like the person who wrote it was talking to the people who believe the theory, rather than giving information. Discussion-like language should be left for the talk page, not an article. AjaaniSherisu (talk) 06:13, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

Gender

I am pretty sure the reason that Yue's gender is put as neutral is because Ruby Moon, his counterpart, is a genderless creature. However, Ruby was canonly genderless, as in, it was said point-blank. But Yue was always refered to only as "he", without any implication that he, too, was genderless. Would this be more speculation than logical association? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.27.231.207 (talk) 17:00, 18 March 2008 (UTC)

No, you are correct, and it's not speculation. I wasn't aware that there was somewhere on the page that Yue was referred to as genderless, because that is incorrect. I'll change it, where does it say that? 3loodlust (talk) 17:28, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
In the info box, right next to gender. it once said "male" but now says "neither". There's quite a bit of questionable information in that box, actually. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.27.231.207 (talk) 23:30, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
I changed it back. 3loodlust (talk) 14:57, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

Powers

I don't remember Yue being so well off in the powers department. I think there are a couple things that overlaps (skilled archer and conuring an energy bow, for example) and other's that I find just odd. anyone else think this needs a little referencing? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.41.32.21 (talk) 21:06, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

Yeah sorry about that I got alittle carried away there but most of whats on there is true. I mixed up the anime powers with the manga powers but I've just fixed all that now, have a look now and tell me what you think. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.202.182.128 (talk) 23:17, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

Everything on there can be referenced. All the information can be found in either the anime or the manga (or both). It's sound information, I think we can leave it be. 3loodlust (talk) 21:15, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

Changes

I've made a few changes in the article, mostly to clean up flowery language and conform it to wiki standards. Also, I removed the first picture of Yue as it serves no purpose to the article either as a depiction of his true form or any other form of understanding. The picture in the powers section does that already. I also cleaned up some unnecessary content, such as summarizing Sakura's speech and all the "seemingly"s that were thrown in. Also, I'm aware that people feel the English name counterparts should be listed, but if they're already on each character's individual page, a reader can link to Sakura Kinomoto and see that she's also "Sakura Avalon", if it's that confusing to them, so I removed them. Original research and speculation was removed as well, as they are not up to Wiki standards. Finally, I felt that it was well established earlier in the article that although Yue has a cold demeanor, that he cares for Sakura, so I omitted an unnecessary referral to that dynamic later in the article.Luminum (talk) 21:28, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
