A single line goes from Darlington to a junction near the Center Street bridge. The line it junctions with ends just to the northwest, and goes southeast to another junction near Haselton Yard, where one line continues southeast to the NS Youngstown Line beyond the yard, and the other goes northwest alongside the yard to a bunch of industrial trackage and a connection into the yard near its northwest end. At the end of the industrial trackage is a CSX connection near SR 7.

The history of those lines is:

  1. Y&S, Darlington to near Powersdale Avenue (35.7 mi plus 1.0 mi at Negley)
  2. PRR Canfield Branch (with Y&S trackage rights), near Powersdale Avenue to near Center Street
  3. LE&E, near Center Street to near Walton Avenue; P&LE Youngstown Branch, near Walton Avenue to Youngstown Line - is this now OHPA?
  4. Newer, at least partially B&O, near Haselton Yard to near SR 7 - though the industrial trackage includes part of the PRR Canfield Branch
  1. Owned by the Y&S, P&LE subsidiary
  2. Owned by Conrail as a branch from Hazelton Yard (0.0) to the Y&S near I-680 (2.5) until ca. 1996, then abandoned first between the yard and near Powersdale Avenue (1.2) - the rest may have been leased to the Y&S
  3. Owned by the LE&E, P&LE subsidiary, and the P&LE?
  4. Owned by various property owners
