Reference to Wolfe

As far as I can see, the assertion that this novel is based on Wolfe's life is not a fact but the assessment of some critics. Without access to the citations given it's hard to know what to make of it. Suggest that somebody look into this if possible, or perhaps soften the assertion.

Critical reception

I ran across an essay that describes Youngblood Hawke this way: "Among the most enjoyable of all Wouk’s novels, it still provides a virtually complete, sometimes hilarious picture of the intertwined worlds of American letters, film and broadcasting, with their thrills, passions, and shallow, tawdry duplicity."

It seems like that is good fodder for the start of a section on the novel's critical reception, but I don't really know what the standards are for starting a section like that, and only putting in one bit (at first) of critical reception. Thoughts? Novellasyes (talk) 16:49, 27 May 2020 (UTC)
