Scientist's Shul edit

Per https://www.yise.org/hashomer-rh-2018.pdf page 9: "In its early days, Shomrai Emunah was known as the “scientists shul”. In addition, Shomrai Emunah was established in the 1950s around the same time that the structure of DNA was discovered."

And from https://www.academia.edu/49614815/Dissertation page 112:

As Spetner recounts, the influx of religious Jewish scientists to the Washington D.C. area triggered the formation of a new synagogue in 1952, which was known for at least a decade as the “scientists’ shul.” 180

Footnote 180 states: Until all the lawyers and other religious civil servants moved in the following decades and flooded its ranks. This synagogue has since moved to Silver Spring Maryland and is called Young Israel Shomrai Emunah. Spetner recounts that he and his co-parishioners also started a parochial school for girls and then added a boys division in the mid-60s known as the Yeshiva of Greater Washington.
