Boone edit

An infobox was requested for the 1977 Debby Boone recording of "You Light Up My Life" at Wikipedia:WikiProject_Missing_encyclopedic_articles/List_of_notable_songs/15. —Preceding unsigned comment added by InnocuousPseudonym (talkcontribs) 07:20, August 28, 2007 (UTC)

Why no mention of the Debby Boone version? --Uncle Ed 20:26, 20 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:TLIYElean.jpg edit

Image:TLIYElean.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BetacommandBot (talk) 05:08, 30 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Elvis edit

I propose removing the reference to Elvis' death on the date of release of this song. It is distracting and has no relevance to this article. I am sure something could be said of Elvis' life for each day of the year. BuffaloBob (talk) 16:00, 12 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Edited edit

I edited your article (such as placing an image on the headbox). I hope you would appreciate my efforts to make your article more interesting and clear to understand the others to know more about this song.

Thank You and God Bless You. (NoFoolz) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nofoolz (talkcontribs) 01:59, 6 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Reference suggestion for third paragraph edit

25 YEARS AGO The 'Light' Stuff How You Light Up My Life shone on Oscar night. In the span of only a few months, Debby Boone's hit dominated the charts -- and then conquered the Academy Award By Scott Brown | Feb 21, 2003

This article is reference #11 in Wikipedia article on Ms. Boone. It supports first sentence of third paragraph.
