Infobox and lead edit

  • Infobox looks good!
  • "It was written by the latters" → "It was written by the performers"
  • Mention the teaser and it being their first collaboration before the release sentence
  • "It received critical acclaim from" → "The song received critical acclaim from"
  • Only mention countries it reached "the top 50" in the first sentence since below that is not notable
  • "in the US and" → "in the United States and" per MOS:US, as this is the first mention of the country
  • "The official music video was" → "The accompanying music video was"
  • Remove the word official from YouTube channel because that is obvious for the lead
  • "and the United States." → "and the US."

Background and composition edit

  • "with Regard uploading a" → "with Regard also uploading a"
  • Regard's elaboration statements seems like it should be the "Collaborating with..." one, as that is the only quote of this in the source
  • [11] should solely be invoked at the end of the sentence
  • "Sivan and Mc Rare sing about" → "Sivan and McRae sing about"
  • "During the lyrics, they sing," → "On the chorus, they sing,"

Reception edit

  • Only write music critics, omitting the writers part
  • "to him, create an" → "to him, creates an"
  • Remove or replace PopClub per WP:SELFPUB
  • "vocals from them" → "vocals from the singers"
  • "likening the "sultry and" → "appreciating the "sultry and"
  • "an "infatuation and summer" anthem, that" → "an "infatuation" and summer anthem that"
  • "opined that "['You'] is a great" → "opined that "['You'] is [a] great"
  • "should be […] with each artist" → "should be [with] each artist"
  • Only identify the United States chart as Billboard Hot 100
  • "It also peaked atop" → "The song also peaked atop"
  • "more than 500,000 units." → "more than 500,000 certified units in the US." per MOS:US
  • "the Netherlands,[28] Singapore,[29] as well as" → "the Netherlands[28] and Singapore,[29] as well as"

Promotion edit

  • Wikilink lyric video to itself per MOS:LINK2SECT
  • Pipe acoustic to Acoustic music
  • I don't think "on 14 June" is needed when you mentioned the date a sentence before the later part
  • "and controlling the video." → "and taking control."
  • "who's face is covered" → "whose face is covered"
  • "Tate was in Los Angeles," → "Tate was in LA," per the source wording
  • "a really cool idea"." → "a really cool idea."" per MOS:QUOTE
  • The black setting and LED wall parts are unsourced
  • "of MTV's Video Music Awards" → "of the MTV Video Music Awards"

Final comments and verdict edit

  •   On hold until all of the issues are fixed; that went smoothly! --K. Peake 09:16, 24 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
  • Hello @Kyle Peake: glad to hear from you again and thanks for your continuous work. I think I responded to everything. Cheers. Iaof2017 (talk) 19:12, 24 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
  • Iaof2017 The only problem I have now is that you have not changed Regard's elaboration quote in background to the one the source mentions, "Collaborating with Troye and Regard was an amazing experience. It's a totally different vibe than any of my usual songs, but still has the emotional and lyrical depth that I always try to write." --K. Peake 20:25, 24 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
  •  Pass now, looks a lot better well done! --K. Peake 07:03, 25 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
