Daphne edit

I'm trying to remember, but I thought Daphne was Bottomley's girlfriend rather than Greenbottle's. --Latch.r 11:46, 7 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

That is correct up until Daphne's very last appearance where she and Bottomly appear to have split up. While she expresses interest in Greenbottle, nothing eventuates as far as is known. In any case, for the majority of the series she is Bottomly's sweet-heart. Vision Insider (talk) 06:00, 25 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Writing Style edit

It's fantastic users are editing this site as Yes, What? is the greatest! Just remember to write formally and not colloquially. So, the boys say, "Good morning" and not, "Gooooood morning, Sir!". Vision Insider (talk) 06:00, 25 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

so how is one to indicate their long, drawn out pronunciation of 'good' which was another running gag in the show? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.44.230.6 (talk) 09:25, 1 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

episodes earlier than #50 on CD!! edit

I have the CD set (best of?) of Yes, What? and it too says that episodes up to number 50 were broadcast live, and not recorded. But it has 1 or 2 episodes on the CD, which are within the first 50 and there's no explanation for the discrepancy!!

Can anyone explain here ? —Preceding unsigned comment added by DaveDodgy (talkcontribs) 03:02, 1 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Yes, What ? edit

The title comes from the running gag of the show.

When Greenbottle says 'Yes' in answer to any of Mr Pym's questions, Mr Pym' responds 'Yes, what?', meaning that Greenbottle should have included 'sir' in his reply. It could also have been expressed as 'Yes, who?' , a familiar reminder of manners to a child by an adult. Instead, Greenbottle merely behaves as though Mr Pym was encouraging him to say more.... 121.44.230.6 (talk) 09:22, 1 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
