Untitled edit
It's worth mentioning that this movie made it to videogame named Max Payne. The main character of the game is a clear copycat of Mickey Rourke in this movie. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.242.66.205 (talk) 10:39, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
Trivia edit
All of this section has been plagiarized from the IMDB entry without attribution. RoyBatty42 (talk) 14:34, 7 July 2008 (UTC)
Film Location edit
Curiously, the only part of the IMDB entry that wasn't stolen relates to the outdoor sets used to reproduce New York City that were actually in Wilmington, NC. In fact, it was the creation of this set that would mark the beginning of Wilmington as a film center. This same set would become the city streets used in first Crow movie. Very fair article edit
The article is quite fair in depicting both sides of the controversy surrounding the film and its supposedly being "politically incorrect". I vividly remember seeing the film upon first release and never met anyone in subsequent years, Asian or non-Asian, who saw it that disparaged anything about it, always instead talking about what a fine thriller it was; it remains a little-known gem, and that can be readily gleaned from the article. Tarantino's comment cited in the text speaks volumes: Year of the Dragon actually feels like a superb Tarantino film. Racing Forward (talk) 16:28, 4 January 2022 (UTC)
