sourced and rewritten

edit

Throroughly sourced and rewritten. Online sources for Pal seem to be a bit thin outside his own CV (which is carried on an independent website and which I deemed reliable enough at least for an outline of his education and a very short, broad sweep on his career), so this article can likely be much expanded if/when further independent sources show up. animal physiology confusion

edit

I was puzzled by the 'animal physiology' bit in the infobox. A search revealed many websites associating Yash Pal with animal physiology, but all seemed to be traceable to the Wikipedia page. I have now solved the mystery: there is a namesake Yash Pal in NCRE, Hissar, and accordingly corrected the infobox entry. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Amuk (talkcontribs) 04:42, 8 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Astrology

edit

Please read carefully. I claim that astrology is a valid science. I am sorry if this part cannot be a part of the article (I have edited the article).

He is unaware that astrology is not a superstition, but is a valid, although subtle science, known to only a very few authentic Vedic astrologers. The positions of planets (known and unknown to science) themselves do not determine the destiny of a person, but the positions only stand to signify the destiny of a person (as much as a red light cannot stop a locomotive, but signifies that a locomotive will stop). The destiny of a person is determined by choices (good or bad deeds) performed by the person in the current and his previous lives. An individual person is not his current body, but the eternal soul within the body, who is rotating in the cycle of birth and death. -59.95.18.251 (talk) 18:48, 15 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
