Link to synopses removed by edit edit

The English Wikipedia Manual of Style for "Lists of works" does not support synopses of literary works in the section where they're listed. Here is a link to the edit version where that removed content can be read. -- Deborahjay (talk) 16:00, 26 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

To view online reviews removed by edit edit

Numerous links to online reviews were removed from the External links section as promotional. This content could still be properly integrated into the text of the page. Here is a link to the edit version where that deleted content can be accessed. Deborahjay (talk) 20:11, 26 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Three titles missing ISBNs edit

The following books in their original Hebrew editions by veteran Israeli publishing houses, may not have ISBN information:

  • Dofeq (Pulse), Hakibbutz Hameuchad Publishing, 2007. Danacode 310004255
  • Adam and Sophie, Hakibbutz Hameuchad - Siman Kriya, 2009. Danacode 310004656
  • Af Echad Lo Ozev et Palo Alto (Nobody Leaves Palo Alto), Keter Publishing, 2020. Danacode 10-279193

Web searches have been unproductive, so it may be necessary to contact the publishers. -- Deborahjay (talk) 09:27, 18 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

UPDATE: These books, according to their publishers' websites, each have a Danacode but not an ISBN. This is a common practice among Israeli publishers. Web-linked sources are provided on the mainspace page. -- Deborahjay (talk) 11:43, 23 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

More citations added as needed edit

The edit on 30 January 2021 at 21:36 added the template "More citations needed." The page at that time had eight citations. As of this comment, it has 22 (also for subsequently expanded content). I am therefore removing the template. -- Deborahjay (talk) 12:47, 26 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Established notability edit

The edit on 30 January 2021 at 22:51 added the Notability tag. I submit the following considerations to remove the tag:

  • The subject's academic career, both as a graduate/postdoctoral student and a lecturer, took place at leading universities including two (Oxford and Columbia) in English-speaking countries.
  • Three of the subject's novels in their original language editions won major Israeli literary awards.
  • The publication of the subject's 2015 novel in English translation was recommended as among the year's top ten (or eight) by three leading English-language media sources and shortlisted for an international award.
  • The subject's Wikidata item currently has 13 identifiers, including numerous libraries at the global level.

This is brought to the attention of @Theroadislong, MB, Ktin, and Zipig: for review. -- Deborahjay (talk) 13:41, 26 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
