This article was nominated for deletion on 15 September 2008 (UTC). The result of the discussion was merge to List of Legend of the Galactic Heroes characters.

Started a longer and more complete article. Didn't finish it because yet, although I eventually plan to. Also, I didn't format it because I didn't know how, as this is the first article I've actually written. Citations aren't included because I didn't have time to go through all of the episodes for the right episode numbers and quotations. Both Schenkopp and Sitolet persuaded him not to retire. Schenkopp began persuading him before he went to see Sitolet and turn in his resignation, but Sitolet was the one who finally persuaded him to stay by telling him to think about the welfare of the soldiers in his fleet. the_one092001 01:05, 21 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
