Editor please rephrase 'when "unauthorised" electronic sensors were allegedly found in her socks. '. This indicated that sensors were hidden in her sock. They were not hidden or found as many evidences are online. Please make wiki more trustworthy. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.19.206.57 (talk) 02:30, 21 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

can I suggest rephrasing? edit

Hi.

In the main article, there is the following sentence: "unauthorised" electronic sensors were allegedly found in her socks.

Can I suggest rephrasing "allegedly found in her socks?" Personally I think it should be "unauthorised" electronic sensors were taken as the "evidence" to disqualify her. Because the said sensors were "found in her socks only before round 1 started."

Please have a look at the video on youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pdPcXA0AMMc . It only takes 2 minutes to find out the sensors were removed before round 1.

Plus, after the investigation since this happened, we can see there is nothing wrong with the sensors and/or the socks.

Thanks. Pqrs8706449 (talk) 20:15, 20 November 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pqrs8706449 (talkcontribs) 20:11, 20 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

So, was she disqualified for cheating or for attempting to cheat? It seems incontrovertible that she tried to start the match with extra sensors on her feet. Cla68 (talk) 00:05, 23 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
Not so. According to numerous published reports, the socks she was wearing were in conformity to the rules as communicated to the taekwondo authorities in Taiwan and were supplied by an authorized supplier. Yang is an established competitor in the sport and knows the rules. Not like she needed them against her Vietnamese opponent. ludahai 魯大海 (talk) 14:55, 3 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

To be honest, I don't think she "tried" to start with extra sensors. But assume she did, I was wondering are there "rules" that can disqualify any contestor because of this? 59.113.65.46 (talk) 03:52, 29 November 2010 (UTC) ps. suggestion for sources at the bottom of the page.. edit

For the controversy part-- I just noticed that all three sources with different headings went to the same website (same source)? Can I make a request to take two of these off so that people can really know how many people care/or just how credible this issue is? Because to me, this article sounds unquestionably biased towards Yang Shu-Chun —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rhinet (talkcontribs) 12:42, 22 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
