Untitled edit

I edited his placing as fourth and 11th Prime Minister because the List article does not include the interim Prime Ministers when it should have. Interim Prime Ministers in Australia are counted so therefore I do not see why the same should not also apply to the Japanese PMs.--The Shadow Treasurer 29 June 2005 00:33 (UTC)

I wouldn't exactly call "His support for many autocratic and aggressive policies directly undermined the development of an open society, and contributed to the coming of the Second World War." "Commander of the General Staff" edit

Just a minor issue/question. According to the article, Yamagata was chief of the general staff 1874–76, 1878–82, and 1884–85. What was his position/duties in between those periods? The dates themselves looks a bit odd. He had the same position but why are there breaks? Was he fired then re-hired or illness or some other issue?
