Label name

YG Entertainment is the company's label name and YG Family refers to all the artists in the company. This is similar to SM Entertainment and SMTown. If anyone can make a page for YG Family (ie. list the collab albums, concerts, etc) that would be great. StarCrystal 22:23, 5 December 2006 (UTC)

not NPOV

The article reads like an ad, especially the section with the description of the company... I'm going to go through and change the wording so it sounds more neutral. rairakku (talk) 19:21, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

Artist footnotes

Can the footnotes about Psy and Epik High in the Artists section be removed? They're not very notable in terms of YG itself and users can refer to the individual artists' pages anyway. Yannaynay (talk) 23:18, 1 May 2016 (UTC)

Artists on hiatus/inactive

Is it useful to have the status of the artists in brackets e.g. Jinusean (hiatus)? It's quite subjective as there is no clear criteria to when a group is inactive or on hiatus (unless they have announced it). I think this information is better suited to individual artists' pages. Splitting proposal

I propose the section YG Entertainment#YG Studioplex be split into a separate page called YG Studioplex. I've created the draft article in a month ago. -St3095 (?) 08:04, 20 March 2021 (UTC)

Your draft isn't any different to the information that's currently in this article? Why does thos need splitting to create a short stub article? Alex (talk) 08:45, 20 March 2021 (UTC)
@St3095: Agreed with Alex POV, the content is too short to justify having its own article. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 09:12, 20 March 2021 (UTC)
@St3095: I've reverted your edit where you changed your original proposal. Please create a new proposal instead of changing your previous comments because it makes it confusing for other editors, especially when mine and @Paper9oll:'s comments were about YG Studioplex and not YG plus like you changed it to. Alex (talk) 08:16, 21 March 2021 (UTC)
@Alexanderlee: Paper9oll said the previous draft was too short. I've replaced the draft title to Draft:YG Plus. -St3095 (?) 08:25, 21 March 2021 (UTC)

Split proposed

There was a similar split proposed earlier (Talk:YG Entertainment/Archive 1#Splitting proposal).

I propose that the section YG Entertainment#YG Plus should be split into a separate article per WP:CONTENTSPLIT. There is an existing draft (Draft:YG Plus) which can be simply moved to create an article. The main reason is that YG Plus is now not only a subsidiary of YG Entertainment but also has Hybe Corporation (along with Weverse Company) as a shareholder. YG Plus now also distributes albums and merchandises of Hybe's artists. -ink&fables «talk» 15:44, 21 August 2021 (UTC)

Please fix the YG logo in the infobox, it looks too stretched to me. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Varad2712 (talkcontribs) 09:25, 6 October 2021 (UTC)
