Binomial authority
editAnimalBase considers Férussac (1821) the species authority following an interpretation of the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature outlined by Dr. F. Welter-Schultes in his 2011 paper Authorships of taxonomic names in malacology. Fauna Europaea considers L. Pfeiffer (1841) the species authority following the reasoning outlined by Dr. Ruud Bank in his 2011 paper Under Threat: The Stability of Authorships of Taxonomic Names in Malacology.
IUCN seems to agree with the latter.
