Warning re Windows10 edit

I was a minor contributor to xnumbers, which is a very useful tool made even better by John Beyers. However, I have found the combination of xnumbers a la JB, Windows10, and Excel 365 to be toxic. Excel simply said there was a compilation error and would not allow me to do anything. I fixed this by working on Windows7 and renaming the add-on so it could not find it, after which I was allowed to delete it. This workaround does not work on Windows10. I have emailed JB but received no response. Is there still a user community out there? JJ A1jrj (talk) 16:46, 29 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

comment from another user:I have just successfully used the latest x64 version of Xnumbers available for download on Win10home_x64 within in Excel2019_x64 home and student. No other add-in was loaded. I am sorry, but I cannot get my hands on Excel 365. IMHO the Beyers brothers both have retired, but the website is still active.
