Etymologically the Latin word genius has the same derivation as nature from gēns (“tribe”, “people”) from the Indo-European root *gen-, "produce."[1] Literally, the Chinese concept of 家 jia means a "family" in the sense of a category of beings produced by the same god, and 门 men, "gateway", in this context means the same thing by metaphor.}}
attempts to explain the etymology of the word Wudaxian as deriving from "family" and meaning a group of beings originated by the same god, much like an avarage Pantheon; while the word Genii is used in latin to define family as one's own direct connection to the Genius (thus, translated as something like ancestors).
The uses of the concept of family in the two languages are clearly very distinct, one is used to either say that all those beings are related to one original god or (to point out how they were produced and not generated?) at least according to the note; while the other is used to refer to the type of connection between oneself and the being (the Genii being the direct phisical ancestors who were worshipped after their death).
A better translation for the word Wudaxian, given the into provided and the context might be something along the lines of "five great Relatives" or even "five members of the great family". Still, surely not Genii.
Additionally, as Wikipedia has the tendency to ask for citations whenver it isn't really necessary, i feel this case to be much worthy of one, as the concept itself seems rather too confusing (in the way it is currently layed out) to ask anyone to just "trust it" without any citation; so i'd add a [citation needed]
