I've deleted the following text because it's based on a sample of only TWO CONCERTS. It seems unnecessary in light of WP:NOT#NEWS to turn this into a running commentary and trivia listing about setlists, especially based on a sampling of only two shows. There are plenty of other sources for that information online, such as Backstreets.com's setlists page or (I assume, since I'm not a member there) the forum at GreasyLake.org. I think a more appropriate way to deal with this is to wait until the end of the first North American leg and then write up a short section similar to the sections called "The show" in articles about other Springsteen tours.

My concern is that larding this up with trivia and ongoing setlist commentary turns it into a fanzine-type article, and that's not the intent of Wikipedia.

I've preserved the deleted text here for easy reference in the future:

During the first few shows the setlists have been similar and heavy on new songs with many of Springsteen's hits or better known songs thrown which is not unsual for the start of new tour to promote one of his albums. "My City of Ruins", which returns to the regular setlists for the first time since the Sessions Band Tour, is being used as the band introduction song at the first shows on the tour while "Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out", the closing song of the shows so far, is being used as a tribute song to Clemons. During the song's third verse of "Big Man joined the band", Springsteen pauses for a few minutes where Clemons sax solo is supposed to be played so the crowd can cheer and respond in remembrance of Clemons. "The Way You Do The Things You Do" and "634-5789 (Soulsville, U.S.A.)", a duo of Motown and soul classics Springsteen is dubbing the Apollo Medley on setlists, have been performed on the early dates of the tour.

Soozie Tyrell and Charlie Giordano

Throughout out the tour and unlike with previous tours when Springsteen announced the members of the band he has started to introduce both as members of the E Street Band. Normally he starts with the E Street Horns, then E Street choir and then onto the E Street Band, which usually starts off with Roy Bittan first. In the past both would be announced separtly and prior to the E Street Band members, now they are announced as members. —Jason1978 (talk) 06:40, 20 September 2012 (UTC)

2014 dates

These dates are NOT part of the Wrecking Ball tour. It has been confirmed by Springsteen a week prior to these dates being announced that the Wrecking Ball tour ends September 21. These new dates are completely separate and there is current speculation on if they will be to promote a new album or if the tour expand beyond those dates.

Setlist?

Why exactly are we using a setlist from one show? Springsteen's tours have always played more then a hundred separate songs. Why don't we do what is done on the other pages and make a list of songs played listed by album chronologically? One setlist does not represent an entire Springsteen tour, as we can see in the setlist of most of his other tours posted on wikipedia which use the method i am advocating
