Just Starting
editI put the names in to get this going. Fyunck(click) (talk) 10:14, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
Tables
editGees TE... you revert so quickly. I created the tables in excel and transferred them over to wiki. Unfortunately the links didn't transfer so I was going to re-add them on the next go around. Is there a tablizing program that does this more quickly and keeps the links intact? It needs to be in table form to look right. Fyunck(click) (talk) 08:21, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
- I have no idea about tablizing programs. You do have sandboxes, you know. You can tablize there all you want and then change the article itself when your proposed edits look spiffy. Otherwise, I have no idea when you delete Wikilinks, which I spent precious and scarce time adding, that your deletion is only temporary. Tennis expert (talk) 08:24, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
Year end
editThe male equivalent list, the World number one male tennis player rankings, states that it is a year-by-year listing of both the male tennis player who, at the end of a full year of play, has generally been considered to be the best overall player for the entire year, and of the runner-up for that year. Is this list also a year end ranking list, or is it, as it states, a list of all the number one ranked women tennis players? Coyets (talk) 15:19, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
- Before the women's tennis computer rankings began in 1975, there were only year-end lists. See List of WTA number 1 ranked players for every player who has been ranked World No. 1 since the computer rankings began (end of year or not). Tennis expert (talk) 19:06, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
recent removals
editThere were some recent non-consensus removals that made a mess of things. I restored it to the last known good version so a few sourcings may have to be re-added... but ranking removals/additions should first be discussed. Fyunck(click) (talk) 07:53, 11 December 2017 (UTC)
