UK and US casualties too high?

The total casualties for the US and UK are higher than 400,000 each in the "Human Losses by Country" table, but the detailed numbers by country in the footnotes show losses lower than 300,000. The UK
The Commonwealth War Graves Commission reported a total of 383,758 military dead, add The Commonwealth War Graves Commission also maintains a Roll of Honour of 67,170 civilians. Total of the two figures is 450,928 which agrees to table
United States
Total U.S. military deaths in battle and from other causes were 407,316. add 9,521 merchant mariners lost their lives in the war and US civilians died while interned Under Japanese internment, 992 died and another 544 were listed as "unknown"; under German internment, 168 died and a further 715 were listed as "unknown".Total 419,400 which agrees to the table--Woogie10w (talk) 22:15, 3 February 2017 (UTC)
