Ethiopian figures are upside down?

Hi, I think the Ethiopian figures must be wrong. Just 5000 military deaths and 95 000 civilians in a war that almost didn't touch the urban areas? I won't change it since i do not know the figures but I think it should be the other way around 46.59.99.97 (talk) 13:10, 15 October 2012 (UTC)

The Source cited is Clodfelter, I own the book. He puts total losses at 100,000. My hunch is that he pro-rated total losses during the Italian occupation of 760,000.--Woogie10w (talk) 17:13, 15 October 2012 (UTC)

Czechoslovak 1939 population

The page states that population of Czechoslovakia on 1st January 1939 was 15,300,000. Unfortunately this number also include population of territories that Czechoslovakia lost because of Munich Agreement. I think, there should be population of Second Czechoslovak Republic) (10,400,000) or Czechoslovak losses including Czech Germans (210,000 soldiers and 40,000 civilians) and Slovak Hungarians (number is unknown to me). But I don´t prefer the second option because those Germans are probably included in Nazi Germany losses.--Bedivere.cs (talk) 08:47, 24 July 2012 (UTC)

Lets not recognize the Munich Agreement as being a basis for the 1st January 1939 populations. In 1945 the Allies considered it null and void. In in any case in post war West Germany the Munich Agreement was used to press the claims of the expelled Germans from the Sudetenland. Also besides the Germans in Czechoslovakia there were ethnic Germans in other Eastern European nations. We would need to adjust for their populations also. Lets keep Czechoslovakia intact before Hitler carved it up.--Woogie10w (talk) 10:13, 24 July 2012 (UTC)

Woogie what he means is just that casualties are then counted twice. Perhaps remove them from the German ones then? 46.59.99.97 (talk) 13:11, 15 October 2012 (UTC)

Casualties are not counted twice, Czechoslovak losses were 25,000 military and 300,000 civilians(270,000 Jews and 30,000non Jews). Ethnic German losses in Czechoslovak are included separately with Germany -200,000 military and 30,000civilians--Woogie10w (talk) 13:22, 15 October 2012 (UTC)
