Advertisement edit
This article is written like an advertisement. The banner is staying up until someone makes key changes
"Workopolis [1] is Canada's leading online career-solutions provider drawing more than 3 million unique visitors monthly, "
This is the lede and it's aleady boasting the companies success. Every sentence sounds like this. I'm in favour of dumping the article entirely.
Neutral Point of View edit
A contributer to this article has removed the following neutral citations:
Recent social media trends have seen Workopolis loose ground to free resume sites such as LinkedIn. The use of social media by recruiters to reach candidates is at an all-time high. Results show that 92 per cent of respondents are using or planning to use social media in 2012, up almost 10 per cent from the 83 per cent using social recruiting in 2010.[1] A job posting test conducted by Stafflink over a 30 day period concluded that candidates obtained through Monster, Workopolis' largest competitor, were of a higher quality than Workopolis.[2]
I'm recommending we remove this article.
