Chart performance: Propose to remove the number of weeks spent at peak position
editI believe that the number of weeks spent at the peak position that we have in the current version of the article should be removed. Rationale:
- Per guideline in WP:CHARTS, "Weeks spent at peak position should be mentioned within the article text and not inserted into the table."
- I never saw this in any other article.
- It's difficult to source, as each week would in most cases demand a separate reference.
- It's easy to get wrong; for example the article currently claims that the album has spend 4 weeks as #1 in Denmark. This is untrue; it was #1 in weeks 5 [1], 7 [2] and 8 [3] but not in week 6 [4].
In order not to stir up an edit war I prefer to discuss it here, rather than just removing them. Any thoughts? – IbLeo (talk) 21:24, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
- Done per above, as nobody have objected. – IbLeo (talk) 20:26, 18 March 2009 (UTC)
