Dr. Denhaan has reviewed this Wikipedia page, and provided us with the following comments to improve its quality:
I think this article is about workforce and not about "labor force". Labor force is typically defined as the sum of those working _PLUS_ unemployed workers, that is, workers looking for a job. The same holds for the definition of the labor force participation rate. This would include in the numerator the sum of both working and those not working but looking for a job (i.e. employed plus unemployed). You can check this in pretty much any intermediate macroeconomics textbook (e.g. Mankiw).
We hope Wikipedians on this talk page can take advantage of these comments and improve the quality of the article accordingly.
