Largest state park?
editThe Adirondack Park in New York would seem to be larger by area. On what grounds is Wood-Tikchik claimed to be the largest? (Also note that both references for the claim in the article are non-functional links.) Powers T 12:21, 26 September 2020 (UTC)
- On the grounds that Adirondak Park is not a state park in the normally understood sense of the word and it is not managed by New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation. That being said I'm mystified as to what's going on with the AK DNR website links. I'll see if I can sort that out. Beeblebrox (talk) 07:42, 27 September 2020 (UTC)
- Still not sure what the deal is, I'm not an expert on this sort of thing, but the main page for the park is now here for whatever reason. Beeblebrox (talk) 07:45, 27 September 2020 (UTC)
- Hm, what is Adirondack Park if not a state park then? Powers T 18:53, 28 September 2020 (UTC)
- It's a "protected area" apparently. Beeblebrox (talk) 19:14, 29 September 2020 (UTC)
