First appearance edit

I'm not so sure about the first mainstream comics appearance being in 2008. I guess it depends on what is defined as "mainstream DC Universe". Wonder Dog has appeared in print before. In the '70s, I had a Super Friends digest which had a story featuring Marvin, Wendy, and Wonder Dog. I think I may have found a link to it at comics.org. At that point in time, I don't know if they had bothered to define whether Super Friends stories occurred in the same continuity as the other DC Comics titles. I would certainly call it mainstream, albeit geared towards younger children. --GentlemanGhost (talk) 21:14, 31 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Scooby Doo Rip Off? edit

Is Wonder Dog a Scooby Doo rip off? Both the characters are dogs that more bright than "normal" dogs with a similar speech paterned. Scooby Doo appeared a couple of years before Scooby Doo. -Golem866 (talk) 21:55, 29 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Breed edit

What kind of dog was the original superfriends dog? A great dane with a white muzzle? Some kind of mixed breed? What breed is the Teen Titans hellhound? Ace Frahm (talk) 10:16, 27 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

He was referred to as "Half-bloodhound" in the first season of the Super Friends series, but in the Post-Infinite Crisis New Earth reality he's clearly a hellhound, but he shapeshifts into a bloodhound. Noah Tall (talk) 21:24, 21 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
