Here are some tasks awaiting attention:
- Article requests : add Women's education and Islam section, add section under modern scholarship and politics that provides a consolidated defense for women's status in islam (across topics) by conservative scholars
- Cleanup : dress code section (merge facts into hijab if necessary and rewrite blurb to highlight most important things in hijab article), marriage section (make sure it highlights most important facts from Islamic marital jurisprudence article), gender roles section (make so it doesn't repeat right to work, write better blurb using info from gender roles in Islam), criticism
- Copyedit : all
- Expand : gender roles, sex segregation
- NPOV : double-check for npov and re-add banner if necessary
- Verify : all the statements without references, some of which are of dubious accuracy. some of the unreferenced statements may be referenced on subpages. a few of the references in the footnotes have been dropped along the way (making empty footnotes), and they should be found and re-added.
- Wikify : intro
- Other : double-check sub-articles to make sure their footnotes don't include short-form references to books only given in long form on the women and islam main page. also, two subpages, gender roles in Islam and domestic violence in Islam are looking pretty sad.
