Better protect this page, he just did a terrible job in the Under-20 semi-final.

This referees handling of the 2007 U-20 World Cup semi-final between Chile and Argentina was met with protests by the Chileans. A pretty awful display. I suspect he will regret many of his decisions and would say he does not have an ideal personality to referee a game with young players. It could be claimed he showed bias in many of his decisions.

Atrocious job, agreed, but hopefully we can make the article about half as atrocious. That would be a start. theProject 07:05, 20 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Getting too far from the subject of the article edit

The last sentence is perhaps better placed in some other article because it refers to events with which Mr. Stark was not directly involved:

The entire situation is under investigation by FIFA. The brawl is a major embarrassment to FIFA, which earlier congratulated organizers for setting a ticket sales record for the tournament. The U-20 competition is FIFA's second biggest tournament, behind only the World Cup.

I propose taking the above sentence out. Perhaps specific details about the incident after the game belong in a different article? Mumun 無文 17:48, 20 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Maybe, placing the tag for "current events" too --Peewack 18:09, 20 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

This article talks only about complaints, controversies, and questionable calls. There is nothing about his history or any other information for that matter, which makes one believe that this page is heavily biased. There are plenty of other websites used for bashing referees, this shouldn't be one of them. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gameking3002 (talkcontribs) 05:01, 17 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Other U-20 Matches edit

He was also in charge of the U-20 match between Portugal and Gambia. Selecciones de la Vida 10:49, 25 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

I will add this. Mumun 無文 11:49, 25 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

the following are other games Wolfgang Stark presided over at the U-20's; Spain vs. Uruguay, Costa Rica vs. Japan, and Zambia vs. Nigeria. He was also in charge of the Euro 2008 qualifiers that featured Greece vs. Turkey. Selecciones de la Vida 07:51, 28 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Table and Main text don't mix edit

Would it be possible to release the first part of the main text from the table in witch it has become ensnared? It is inappropriate to place main text in a table connected to a photo. I would do this myself but I don't want to mess things up. ^^ Mumun 無文 19:45, 20 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

I've done this now. --Albert Tellier 20:31, 20 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
