I removed the gallery of his artwork, per WP:NOT. There's already an external link to a gallery of images. It might make more sense to have a list of the battles that he painted and include the art work in those articles instead. howcheng {chat} 18:25, 28 June 2006 (UTC)

Image:Wojciech Kossak.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. Country of death edit
He died in 1942 in Krakow. Back then it was under the Nazi-controlled General Government. Should that be placed as the country of death? Should Nazi Germany be placed as the country of death, as the General Government was a part of it? Why does it say Poland, as in reffering to the modern entity? The current form of Poland wasn't established until the late 1980s-early 1990s. Sandjaar (talk) 16:29, 14 May 2024 (UTC)
