Update Info

You need to update your information on WHS. The info you have is very outdated. If you check with the foundation study, you can correct your information. I tried, but it wouldn't edit. It is this kind of misinformation that will keep WHS alive and well and spreading through the hedgehog community. User:Hedgiemama

relation to multiple sclerosis

On the hedgehogs as pets page, it says that wobbly hedgehog syndrome may by similar to mitiple sclerosis. However, on this page, it says that it is related. Which page should be updated with newer info? UNIT A4B1 (talk) 23:57, 26 January 2010 (UTC)

It is similar to MS. It is not a form of MS. For many years, it was believe to actually be MS in hedgehogs. It is a sclerosis of the nerves, but there is nothing I've seen that supports the conclusion that it is identical to MS. So, because it is a sclerosis, it is similar to MS. Still, many people (including doctors) simplify things by calling it Hedgehog MS. -- kainaw™ 00:13, 27 January 2010 (UTC)

WHS in other mammals

The article mentions multiple times that WHS also appears in other mammals, in particular humans. However, the first paragraph acts like it is hedgehog only. The article was edited on 7 March in which unreferenced nonsense about humans was added to it. I have reverted those changes now. JezGrove (talk) 15:02, 21 March 2022 (UTC)
