Talk:Wireless telegraphy in the Italo-Turkish War

Sorry folks but I've made something of a dog's breakfast with this translation. The main problem is that the title appears in Italian - the English title should read:

Wireless telegraphy in the Italo-Turkish War.

Can someone pse tell me how to change the title, which is currently in Italian, to the English?

Also I would like to insert the image from the Italian wiki and use the caption:

Wireless equipment being transported by camels. --Mikeo1938 (talk) 19:46, 16 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Well, the title is now correctly given in English. But I still need to insert the picture of the camels that appears on the it/wiki article. --Mikeo1938 (talk) 20:07, 16 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

You can first check if the photo is in the public domain in the United States. In this case it looks like it is, because it was in the public domain in Italy as of January 1, 1996. Then you can transfer it to the Wikimedia Commons, where it can be used in any article. ... discospinster talk 19:02, 18 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

I see that further citations are required for my translation. This is something that has happened before when I've done translations. There are no more citations in the Italian version - I have included all of them! Two or three of my previous translations (Italian to English and German to English) have been deleted for the same reason. If there were more citations I would include them - but there are no more!

If the text is good enough for the it/wiki why can it not be put onto en/wiki? As before I can add a note at the end stating that it is a translation and includes all the citations from the original.

We are invited to do translations and I'm happy to do these from time to time (French/German/Italian into English, my mother tongue) but it's discouraging to see my translations then deleted.
