Also, this page provides a link 'Produce WBMP for any platform' which directs to a page, https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/webservices/library/wi-wbmp/, which does not exist anymore at IBM. Either the link should be removed, or an alternative link found.
Regarding the statement "For colored images, WAP supports the Portable Network Graphics format."
