Talk:Wings (Pike novel)

This is the second time someone has changed some of the "faerie" spellings to "fairy." The work uses the spelling "faerie," as does one of the quotes in "critical reception." This is an accepted English spelling. Let's not turn this into a reversion war. 174.26.6.120 (talk) 03:04, 18 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Not sure why the longer, more helpful plot summary was removed, so I restored it. Also, Pike does not seem to have actually announced anything about movie rights, I don't think Wikipedia needs to be part of the speculation. At the very least, when removing such big chunks of the article you should at least provide an "Edit Summary." 71.219.153.21 (talk) 05:22, 24 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

I deleted that whole part of the reference with some random butthurt person ranting about how Miley shouldn't play the main character in the movie adaptation, yaddah yaddah.

"miley cyrus should not play the part of laurel. she is not a great role model as everyone thinks. she does not fit the role of laurel at all. don't even try to use make up in the movie. Laurel is a divine person. her hair is supposed to be blonde long and straight, her eyes an elegant green. she's supposed to be different, not some country person like miley. i'll admit i don't like miley cyrus at all, and i have my reasons but this is not why im saying all this, my reasoning is that Disney should find someone else to do the part because cyrus will never fit it."

I don't think it should be on this page. So I removed it. Special:Contributions/LunaRu72 (talk) 01:57, 27 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Miley Cyrus huh. Well, that explains the recent vandalism. 130.13.47.183 (talk) 19:50, 27 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

the majority comments about the wings movie are against the decision of mily cyrus playing the role. i also seriously disagree with mily playing laurel. i feel that if they go through with the movie with mily as laurel, the popularity of the book series will dramatically decrease. please don't ruin this epic and amazing series with mily. if the majority of all wings fans are against it, shouldn't you hear them out? they are the ones who made this book series so popular to begin with. they deserve to have their voices heard. take a vote, a poll, a petition, anything, just listen to them. Plaese, as fans of aprilynne pike and wings, please help to change these decisions. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.36.107.84 (talk) 18:34, 22 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
