Comparing it to Microsoft's Windows 1251 reference website, which I would call authoritative, I guess it's wrong: the code points from 0x00 to 0x1F are filled with C0 control codes, 0x7F is the DEL character. --Abdull 11:51, 7 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

"Obsolete" is POV

If you go looking for online material in Russian etc., you will probably find a lot more in CP-1251 than in Unicode. Unicode certainly is the "wave of the future", however calling 1251 "obsolete" seems premature. LADave (talk) 16:36, 3 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

I am very puzzled by this statement: "The following table shows Windows-1251. Each character is shown with its decimal code and its Unicode equivalent.
