Polish?

I've never heard a Polish version of Wind of Change, and the version on the Polish fansite is definitely in Russian, though with a strange, and non-Russian sounding accent. Here are the lyrics (transcribed to Latin alphabet): [link to copyvio website removed]

When Written?

In the liner notes to 20th Century Masters: Scorpions it mentions that this song was written before the Berlin Wall fell. I would like another source, but I think that would be worth putting in the article if it can be sourced. I think most people assume it was written as a tribute to the falling of the Berlin Wall, which does not seem to be correct. Konky2000 21:53, 16 May 2007 (UTC)

Coke Commercial

The article suggests the coke add from the 90's just pictures children in the snow. From memory, it was actually about increasing freedom in Eastern Europe and featured a number of associated images. I vaguely remember seeing Russian soldiers, for example. Does anyone remember better? If so, could this be amended? It was a good commercial. Highest Selling Song

Yes, i think that this is wrong, too. "Butterfly" by Danyel Gérard won the TV-Show "The successful hit of the last 30 years". So it's not possible that WoC is the most selling single. --Onclemo (talk) 13:47, 7 December 2008 (UTC)

Royal signals version

Article contradictions

In the third paragraph, it says that the song is "the 10th best-selling single of all time in Germany" while in the section named "Legacy" it says that the song is "the highest ever selling song in Germany". As written, this is obviously a contradiction. So either one of the statements is wrong, or some clarification is needed, as maybe they mean it is the best selling song by a german group, or within a specific genre, or something along those lines. 109.232.208.11 (talk) 10:49, 2 August 2011 (UTC)

Update to 2022 lyrics following Russian war with Ukraine

In the text of the article where the lyrics have been updated, it cites "Now listen to my heart / It says Ukraine".

But if you watch this video where they're singing the new version live, it clearly sounds like "It says Ukrania", and is accompanied by the lyrics on screens at the venu where it is also written this way : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A6cwUBJqqns&t=136s I believe that Scorpion used the way Ukraine is pronounced in the Ukrainian language, instead of the was it would be pronounced in English (though this is slight conjuncture on my part).

Should the Wikipedia article show the lyrics as they're written in the article (where they could have been improperly transcribed), or have them as they were sung at the live show (while mentioning that the article referenced used Ukraine instead of Ukrainia)?
