Dr. Drichoutis has reviewed this Wikipedia page, and provided us with the following comments to improve its quality:


The section "Standard theory vs. experimental results" discusses only one side of the coin. For example, Plott and Zeiler (2005) offer a different interpretation than what has been frequently reported in the literature of the disparity between WTA and WTP measures by showing that "...observed gaps are symptomatic of subjects' misconceptions about the nature of the experimental task and that "the differences reported in the literature reflect differences in experimental controls for misconceptions as opposed to differences in the nature of the commodity.
