"It has been suggested she was from North Hinksey near Oxford, and possibly called Suzanna." Yes, it has been suggested, but this idea has been discredited in almost every review of the Donovan book, so it is not helpful to repeat it here. PeterKidd (talk) 07:45, 24 July 2008 (UTC)

It is mentioned by Eamon Duffy who along with the cited review notes its speculative nature but does not dismiss it. Johnbod (talk) 13:41, 24 July 2008 (UTC)

Earliest Book of Hours?

The source cited for the Italian book of hours this article describes as earlier than the de Brailes suggests that the former dates from the 1st decade of the 14th century. If so, then surely it is still later than the de Brailes, considering he was active only until the 1260s? ANB (talk) 23:52, 20 May 2009 (UTC)

There have been disputes on that point; see the edit history. I think it most unlikely myself that it was in any way a prototype, but it may be the earliest surviving. Johnbod (talk) 00:20, 21 May 2009 (UTC)
