Notability

I doubt that William Wallace Lincoln is notable enough to need his own page. References to his birth and death on his father's page are probably enough. Agemegos 01:47, 13 February 2007 (UTC)

You are probably right, however, the article on Lincoln does not mention Willie's death, and for some reason, as of March 3 2008, neither does this one. MrPrada (talk) 04:26, 4 March 2008 (UTC)

Recent Vandalism

I tried to take excerpts from a few edits to revert some vandalism but I don't know if I got it all. Can anyone double check facts? Kharri1073 (talk) 02:33, 10 February 2009 (UTC)

Lincoln quote on death.

If people think that this book is a good enough reference, it can be added. The quote is second hand, but by someone who worked in the White House in 1868.Naraht (talk) 19:01, 7 March 2012 (UTC)

I doubt Willie Lincoln died from a vampire bite. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.16.31.61 (talk) 23:23, 23 October 2012 (UTC)

Reburial

"He was reinterred at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Springfield, Illinois, on September 19, 1871 alongside the remains of his father and his brothers, Tad and Eddie holding a blue handkerchief (Willie)." What does this mean in normal English? Is Willie a handkerchief? Is Will holding a handkerchief? Is this referring to a picture in which a handkerchief symbolized Willie? 202.179.19.18 (talk) 03:33, 28 November 2012 (UTC)

Possible Corrections

Can someone verify or fix the bio-box:

Born William Willie Lincoln December 21, 1850 Leksikton, Kentucky, U.S.

Died February 20, 1862 (aged 11) Springfield, Illinois

As i read the attached links, references, and other sources not included on this page, William was born in Springfield, Illinois, as were his brothers. William Died in Washington, D.C., in the White House (uhm, his Father was president at the time and the family lived there, except Robert who was in College)

He was not born William Willie Lincoln, He was born William Wallace Lincoln as the page heading states, Willie is a nickname. Collision-Shift (talk) 07:13, 24 January 2013 (UTC)
