William Brady served as the Mayor of New York from 1847 and 1848. There is little information that exists about him, but because he was a mayor of the largest city in the United States for two years, and because a street in the New York City borough of the Bronx was named after him, I feel that he has importance, and his article should remain on Wikipedia.
