Small engine policy

edit

I'm not entirely convinced that it was Stanier who ended the small engine policy. I think it had already started to crumble when Fowler introduced the LMS 7F 0-8-0 in 1929. 82.21.65.109 15:38, 25 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

The 7F was something of an exception. Fowler continued to build the 2P and 4P 4-4-0s, and the 4F 0-6-0; and after he left, there were the 0F 0-4-0T and 1P 0-4-4T, all small engines. --Redrose64 (talk) 17:43, 20 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
