About = circa = c. edit

I'm guessing that the "ab." in "(ab. 1080-1155)" etc. is for "about"? If so, you need to use "circa" for this, usually given in Wikipedia, it seems, as "c." - though "c.", "ca." or even "circa" are also found out there in the real world, with the italics, especially "c."! Hope that helps...? And, when you say "The Earl" died before he could take possession of the Honour, presumably you mean the Earl of Chester...? Nortonius (talk) 21:10, 13 May 2008 (UTC) Oh, I see you've used "c." in the Honour article... Nortonius (talk) 21:21, 13 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Sure - both errors. The 'ab was how they wrote it in one source, the c. in another; I wasn't 100% sure they were interchangable.
Yes, the Earl of Chester.

Ok I've changed it. Nortonius (talk) 22:44, 13 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Avicia edit

I don't think that Avicia de Lancaster was the daughter of Roger de Montgomrie. The Roger de Montgomerie page does not list a daughter Avicia. However, the William de Lancaster I page does list a daughter Avicia as marrying William de Peveral. Plus, the name de Lancaster makes no sense as coming from de Montgomerie. I didn't change the page because I don't have access to any of the source materials to cite. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tzdad (talkcontribs) 04:56, 3 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
