As an Officer in the 17th Regiment, it seems unlikely that he was present at the battle of Fort Washington as the 4rd Brigade under Major-General Grant (17th, 40th, 46th and 55th) were reserves and didn't take part in the battle. Further, the footnote citing pages 350-55 of the fraser book does not discuss this Blaene (talk) 12:29, 7 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

@Blaene Thanks for the note. The InternetArchiveBot had linked to the wrong volume of the three volume Fraser book. I've updated the ref and added a direct chapter link to pages 350–351. In the middle of page 351: "He also describes the storming of Fort Washington, ..." Thanks, Zeete (talk) 12:54, 9 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
