Series edit

See the Talk page of the article on the Discovery of Neptune. Lassell seems to have been subject to a series of disasters. These included an injured ankle and a lost letter. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.203.3.122 (talk) 16:31, 12 January 2008 (UTC) he tried —Preceding unsigned comment added by 166.204.9.22 (talk) 04:11, 6 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

The gist and much of the phrasing of this article as it existed, e.g. in 2010 formed footnote 15 of Stefan Hughes, Catchers of the Light: The Astrophotographers' Family History 2012, p. 2634.--Wetman (talk) 01:55, 24 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Antiques Roadshow edit

On Series 46, Episode 10 of the BBC's Antiques Roadshow, broadcast on 7 January 2024, a descendant of Lassell showed a telescope, which may have been made by Lassel himself, which was valued at £20,000 by expert Marc Allum. Martinevans123 (talk) 20:09, 7 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
