Add Atheism info box to all atheism related talk pages (use {{WikiProject Atheism}} or see info box)
Ensure atheism-related articles are members of Atheism by checking whether [[Category:Atheism]] has been added to atheism-related articles – and, where it hasn't, adding it.
Try to expand stubs. Ideas and theories about life, however, are prone to generating neologisms, so some stubs may be suitable for deletion (see deletion process).
State atheism needs a reassessment of its Importance level, as it has little to do with atheism and is instead an article about anti-theist/anti-religious actions of governments.

The statement that Hamilton was "dean of arts & letters" at PSU is not entirely correct -- unless he held that post at the end of his time there. I know because he was my advisor in the University Scholars' Program there; I graduated from there in 1980. He was a full professor & part of that Program. (IIRC, the University decided to hire him based on his fame/notoriety, & needed to put him somewhere. The Scholars' Program was perhaps the one place he'd gather the least amount of heat from unhappy peers & outside critics.) Far as I know, he did not handle any administrative duties. That's about the only error I can see in the LA Times article, so I suspect the reporter mush have misunderstood his source. -- llywrch (talk) 19:35, 10 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
